3MTT 2nd Phase

FG On February 29, 2024, 3MTT 2nd Phase Fellows will be shortlisted! As the first phase of the @3MTTNigeria program comes to an end, Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy Dr. Bosun Tijani said, “I am pleased to provide an update on our progress so far.”

First, we can confirm that the fellows chosen for the 2nd phase of the 3MTT program will be revealed on Thursday, February 29, 2024, with a predicted training start date in March, according to Dr. Bosun Tijani.

Our first cohort has completed training programs in 12 different skill areas over the past few months, and we have heard nothing but good feedback from our fellows. We have also been able to learn from the early prototype phase as we go along, and this input will help us grow and enhance the overall experience for our fellows and the 121 training providers in Nigeria, he said.

We are inspired by the increased support from partners and stakeholders as we enter the next phase of training, which will see an extra 270,000 fellows over the course of the next 18 months, in our effort to provide 3 million technical skills by 2027.

We will be finalizing employment placements for our first batch of graduates from the program, which is another important update. Over 1,400 organizations have already expressed interest in hiring fellows from our inaugural cohort, and in the coming weeks, we will be announcing the first round of these job placements. This is a crucial component of the #3MTT Program’s goal, which makes sure that we connect technically skilled people with respectable employers in addition to delivering talent.
