Research that is funded should make mental health issues better understood and enhance rehabilitation, diagnosis, and treatment. Moreover, it will serve as a springboard for additional research that qualifies for bigger financing prospects.
Applications are encouraged across the whole spectrum of mental health research. But they especially support submissions from underappreciated mental health fields, such as OCD, trauma-related mental health, borderline personality disorder, and self-harm and suicide. Under the purview of this competition, neurodevelopmental diseases are taken into consideration; researchers with expertise in Tourette’s and ADHD are especially encouraged to apply.
