What’s a Mini-Grant?
Mini-grants, ranging from $300 to $2000, are dedicated to supporting educational pursuits, projects, or efforts connected to addressing the plastic problem. Unlike loans, this funding is a grant, allowing recipients to keep the awarded amount without repayment.
How to Apply
- Create a Wayfinder Society individual or student account.
- Complete two essential Actions: Watch “The Story of Plastic” film and engage in “The Story of Plastic” system mapping.
- Submit your application by April 15th, 2024.
Eligibility
- Age 11-25 on the application deadline.
- Completed required Wayfinder Society online program Actions.
- Dedication to ending plastic pollution.
Selection Criteria
Judges will evaluate applicants based on program participation, commitment to addressing plastic pollution, and the impact of their work. The application process includes explaining one’s involvement, showcasing what has been learned, detailing actions taken, and providing plans for fund utilization.
